Hello my name is Paris and I am the founder of mixitonline.com

I've been involved in music recording since the age of 14. From the first time I've visited a recording studio with the bands I was playing at times I always had more interest on the technical side of things rather than the music it self. I slowly made a small collection of the best recording gear budget allowed and begun recording demos for local bands and collaborating with various artists both in studio and as a live engineer.

Now I run my private recording and mixing space in Serres Greece called Parallel Universe. That's where mixitonline started. As a mixing engineer I love to combine the best of both analog and digital worlds. I work with a DAW to take advantage of all its conveniences but I use my vintage Soundcraft 6000 as a summing mixer and have a growing collection of outboard analogue gear. My main goal always has been to give character and highlight the best elements of a composition. I don't like to follow trends, do's and don'ts, I like to try and experiment with everything and strongly believe that there are no rules in the audio making.

I have worked with many local artists like Tuber, Darnakes, Snooze Loop, Dr Funk, Low Budget Orchestra, 18 Para Tetarto but I've also mixed many projects from around the world via my online service. I'm also available as a freelance engineer and have a great collaboration with my good friend Nikodemos T over at the Sonic Ark studio. Nikodemos T

"...my name is Nikodemos T. and i am a recording and mixing engineer , living and working in Thessaloniki, Greece. I've been working as a recording and  mixing engineer and as a record producer for the last 17 years.....

I started out as a recording musician interested in gear (the usual story....). I started working as an assistant engineer (or coffee boy if you prefer...) back in the early 90's - late 80's both in studio and at live stages. In 1993 i started working as a sound engineer and in 1994 i made up my first official recording space with my good friend and excellent engineer B.Karkavitsas. This was "studio Q".....

Since then i recorded and mixed hundreds of albums mainly from alternative rock and indie bands gaining a well respected name and a personal trademark style in music production....

I produced, recorded and mixed lots and lots and ....lots of albums and tracks for bands and artists such as De Facto, Daemonia Nymphe, Coin, TPQ, Mora sti Fotia, D.Sadikis, Boomstate, Ghostfish, Loudias, Fota Poreias. Jane Doe, Kathodos ton Mirion etc etc...you get the picture... 

I love to work with talented bands and artists regrdless music genres allthough i must admitt that when it comes to producing i am mostly in alt rock , garage punk and generally in LOUD MUSIC!!!!...

Actually the word "alternative" describes best both my taste and my approach. I love to record acoustic instruments played by real people but i also love to spend time editing and croping sound clips in order to create complete new sounds....the best way to describe this is J.Meek's famous phrase: "If it sounds good....then it's good".
